British-American Sister Act, The Sonflowerz, are experiencing their most successful year yet. In August of 2007, the act won first place in the Vocal Duo competition and won Best Over-All Vocal Group at the 33rd annual GMA Music in the Rockies. Soon after, they began working on their 3rd studio release, "All Over The World". As their radio single "Edge Of My Seat" hit #1 on the CRW IAA Radio Chart in the first week, the momentum didn't stop there. "My Adoration", an original worship song written by lead singer and guitarist, Elissa Leander and producer Don Koch, ranked in the Top 5 of the national Inspirational CRW radio chart.

The Sonflowerz began in 1999 when Elissa Leander began writing original worship songs at the age of 14. Encouraged by her youth pastor to form a band with her sister, Becca, they began performing at venues all across their home state of Colorado. Youth Events, Women's conferences, and worship services are all a part of the The Sonflowerz touring ministry. They have shared the stage with such artists as Jeremy Camp, Kutless, Barlow Girl, and Sanctus Real.

Along with the release of the new CD, The Sonflowerz will be touring the US in 2008. "During our travels, we've met a lot of young people who are hurting," Becca said. ":More than ever, they are searching to fill a void. We want these songs on this new record to point the way to Jesus."
