Elissa (vocals/guitar) and Becca (vocals/guitar/bass/keyboards) Leander are The Sonflowerz; musicians, songwriters, sisters and recording artists with a passion for sharing God's message of hope.

The Sonflowerz began in 1999 when Elissa Leander began writing original worship songs at the age of 14. Encouraged by her youth pastor to form a band with her sister, Becca, they began performing at venues all across their home state of Colorado. Youth Events, Women's conferences, and worship services are all a part of the The Sonflowerz touring ministry. They have shared the stage with such artists as Jeremy Camp, Kutless, Barlow Girl, and Sanctus Real.

Their 2008 album "All Over The World," spawned 4 singles that reached the top 5 of the Inspirational Charts, appearing next to luminaries like Mercy Me and Big Daddy Weave, while their Christmas EP, " Beautiful Miracle" topped the charts in Christian Music Weekly's worship chart, besting Chris Tomlin's "Emmanuel"

This dynamic duo shows no signs of slowing down in 2010, and are booking shows for this year and beyond.
